Youth on Fire!

Welcome to “Youth on Fire” of J-Town.  We have the best youth group on planet earth and we can prove it.  Our entire youth group is Holy Ghost filled.  We play and work well together achieving best drama & sign team in the ALJC National Competition.  Our youth leader Bro Kalyn Nelson won best vocalist in the same competition in 2010.  We have 5 young men studying God’s word and becoming great preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Nelson uses our youth group for positions in the church, like Multimedia Engineer, Missions America and World Missions Leader, Church Growth Director, musicians, singers and anything else he can come up with.  We are first in prayer, first in fasting and first in praise & worship.  We enjoying living for God and seeking ways we can please him.  The first Wednesday of every quarter is our youth service.  Come visit and find out loving God is more than a social event.  No youth is left out; we function as one body of Christ.

In Titus 2:6-8 “Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.  7) In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,  8) Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.”  We have a lot to live up to God’s expectations of youth, so we focus on pleasing him and working together to satisfy him.  When we build our sacrifice right, God sends the fire out of heaven and the Holy Ghost falls on all of us.  We believe the God that answers by fire let Him be God.
